Birth Coaching
Your children's birth story as a starting point
Birth Coaching
during pregnancy and postpartum
The period surrounding the birth of your child(ren) is often a special time in your life. It can be a beautiful time full of joy and pleasure, but also intense, sad, or painful. If you are looking for support, you can come to me for birth coaching and hypnotherapy.
Questions may arise due to problems that occur during pregnancy or the time after the birth of your child. Perhaps the delivery went differently than you had hoped, or your pregnancy came at a time when you were not yet ready for it. Additionally, unresolved situations from the past may surface, whether during pregnancy, delivery, or after the birth.
Sometimes in life, you face situations that demand the utmost from you. A premature birth has more impact than anyone can imagine, and the loss of a child is the rawest form of grief. At such moments, it can be so valuable to have someone who can support you, think along with you, and empathize with everything that is going on at that moment.
Pregnancy haptonomy
and birth coaching
If you want to prepare for the birth, pregnancy haptonomy can help. The guidance consists of 6 birth coaching sessions, 5 before the delivery and 1 after. This can be done together with your partner, or if you are a single parent.
Post-Partum Packaged
The birth of your child is all-encompassing. It is often beautiful and intense, but can also be difficult and confusing. This package is an opportunity to reflect on the birth of your child and to get more in touch with your feelings and experiences. The first session is 1-2 weeks after the birth of your child, and the second session between 4-10 weeks.
Growing children
help with parenting questions
As your children grow up, situations may arise that require your attention. This can relate to you as a parent, but it could also be that your child shows you something that puzzles you. Perhaps there is a divorce involved and your child is struggling with it. Or you may notice that your child gets angry easily or goes through periods of sadness. It is also possible that your child is highly sensitive or has above-average intelligence, which affects his or her mood.
It can be helpful to have someone look at what is needed for your situation. My approach is playful, and I focus on "reading" the signals your child and you as parents show. You will receive tools and exercises to reduce tension in your child and yourself. It is nice if you come together with your child. I can also perceive a lot through the mother's heart, so if it is not possible for your child to come along, that is perfectly fine too.
pregnancy massage & Massage
A massage and loving touch can be so healing. Simply because it feels good, or because you are suffering from stress or other physical ailments. The haptic massage I provide is intended to help you reconnect with yourself and your feelings. It is a gentle and slow massage, without very specific techniques. The oil is warmed and has an orange scent. This makes you feel light-footed. The massage can be booked for 45-60 minutes and is suitable for mothers, women, pregnant women, babies, and children.
EXPERIENCES
Anna
I felt empty and cut off from myself after the birth of my first. Martine came to see me in the first week after the delivery. With great calm and love, she managed to reconnect me with my body. Somehow, she managed to "finish" something that hadn't been completed due to the unexpected caesarean section. It was an important step in my recovery. Martine also came to see me after just a few days after my second delivery. My baby daughter fell asleep beside me while I was being touched lovingly by Martine. And I desperately needed that touch after yet another delivery that didn't go according to plan. I wish every new mother could have a Martine!
Rianne
I met Martine eleven years ago. Pregnant for the first time. I didn't want to learn breathing techniques in a group. If only because my husband wasn't going to do it. My fear of childbirth was also a reason to go to Martine. Three pregnancies and I managed to get my husband to come along three times. That in itself was a miracle. Martine breaks the ice. She simply senses what is there and knows how to turn "that" around. How? Humor, her radiant smile, her inviting questions, and by taking action! Practical and informative, exactly what he needed. Thanks to Martine, I knew what I needed too. I am so proud of us!
